The price of each lottery ticket is $1. With Megaplier the price of each lottery ticket is $2. You can buy random lottery ticket numbers that are picked up automatically by the lottery computer or select your own numbers. In this case you must select 5 unique numbers from 1 to 56 and a mega ball number from 1 to 46. The Mega Millions Lottery allows you to play your numbers for up to 8 consecutive draws.

The lottery drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11.00pm ET. You can win by matching one of the following ways:

How to claim your prize

We can claim the prize on your behalf, deduct our commission and send you the prize. But if you want to claim it yourself the procedure is as follows:

Prizes up to $599.50 can be paid by any New Jersey Lottery Retailer. For prizes greater than $599.50 you must file a standard claim form which can be sent to you upon request. It takes approximately three weeks to receive a check from the New Jersey Lottery. Top-prize MEGA MILLIONS winners must contact Lottery Headquarters, One Lawrence Park Complex,  Brunswick Avenue Circle, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648, USA. Winners, who are not Americans or who do not possess a Social Security Number, are subject to a 30% federal income tax deduction on any prize over $599.50. The law requires the New Jersey Lottery to withhold a minimum 25% of all prize payments to any Lottery winner who has won more than $5,000 on any Lottery wager. At the end of the year, the winner will receive a W2-G form to properly credit the withholding as a tax payment on their federal income tax form.

Powerball Lottery

The price of each lottery ticket is $2. With Powerplay the price of each lottery ticket is $3. You can buy random lottery ticket numbers that are picked up automatically by the lottery computer or select your own numbers. In this case you must select 5 unique numbers from 1 to 59and a powerball number from 1 to 35. The Powerball Lottery allows you to play your numbers for up to 8 consecutive draws.

The lottery drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10.59pm ET. You can win by matching one of the following ways:
